2 Free Events for Thanksgiving 2012 on Queen’s Quay in Toronto

You can celebrate Canadian Thanksgiving 2012 this weekend at two free events in downtown Toronto. Both are on Queen’s Quay during the long holiday weekend of October 6, 7 and 8, 2012.

Harbourfront Centre in Toronto Hosts HarbourKIDS for Canadian Thanksgiving 2012

Harbourfront Centre keeps a busy schedule all year long, and is the site for a number of autumn Toronto events.

HarbourKIDS” is their label for a set of activities and programs aimed at children under the age of twelve. They include a hands-on do-it-yourself “learning centre”. They also offer child-oriented culture, art and country music.

“HarbourKIDS” runs through the 2012 Canadian Thanksgiving weekend: Saturday October 6 through Monday October 8, 2012, from 11am to 5pm. Crafts and learning activities are available for the full time. However, shows and performances are at specific times, so check the official link just below!

Harbourfront Centre is located at 235 Queen’s Quay West, the southernmost point of Lower Simcoe Street in downtown Toronto. Take the subway to Union Station, then the replacement 509 bus.
