Two Free Performances at Toronto Libraries on Aug. 17, 2012

Thanks to the Planet IndigenUS festival at Harbourfront that I had mentioned previously, two Toronto public libraries will host special free performances on Friday, Aug. 17, 2012.

“Rabbit and Bear Paws” for a Youthful Toronto Audience

Youngsters will see “Rabbit and Bear Paws” in the North York Central branch of the Toronto Public Library System.

Geared for children, the story of “Rabbit and Bear Paws” will be presented only once on Aug. 17 from 2-3pm.

The story takes place in the 1750s. North America is being colonized by European settlers. What will the brothers, Bear Paws and Rabbit, do next?
